What's new

Terrence Jones

very badly composed video... i don't understand including FT shooting in the highlights unless it's a big center. also there were repeating highlights.

I hope he sucks. Mainly cause I hate Kentucky...not that I'm jaded or anything about that kinda stuff.

Love it! You must have a college affinity ... who is it? (I'm guessing the Utes??)

Eh, I'm more of just an overall college basketball fan, my main team is Miami but they sucked under Haith (terrible coach) but hopefully Larranga will turn things around. Even though they're in the same conference, I enjoy the way Duke plays, same with UNC. It's not that I hate Kentucky....I just don't like Calipari and I don't like the recent influx of the bandwagon fans from your message boards, they tend to be very arrogant, know everything, etc. etc. You're actually not that bad btw, I don't mind you.

Cool. No bandwagon fan here, I've been posting here long before there was any talk of drafting a UK player. I'll admit the truth though .. it's UK #1 and the Jazz #2.

Oh I know you're not a bandwagon fan, you know your stuff even though do you homer a little bit (who doesn't though). But I'm the same way...I'll always like college ball better than pro ball, something about it is just more entertaining for me.

I think we did very well this last draft .. and stand to do very well in the next, as well.

Or not. There's a good chance we get ZERO picks. Jazz should have a decent shot at getting the 7/8 slot in the WC (thereby losing their pick to Minnesota). And GS could get one of the top 8 picks. If I were a betting man, I'd probably guess the Jazz would get ONE late lottery pick.

You're probably right. For whatever reason, my feelings are that the Warriors are improving and under Jackson will take a small step forward this year. I like the team they're building there, especially if they can trade Ellis for a legit piece back that suits them better. Having said that, I see them just missing out on the playoffs by four or five games and being like the 10th seed in the West.

I see us being about the same. I can't see us passing the Mavs, Lakers, Blazers, Thunder, Spurs or Hornets. They're all flawed and of course one injury can change all this but I see these six teams as just about locks for the playoffs. Then you have two spots left for the Nuggets, Suns, Rockets, Grizzlies, Clippers, Warriors and us. I just the Warriors being a little too green still and the same could be said for us, depending on how quickly, if at all, we come together, especially given our coach who I have little faith in. The Grizz could be just as good if not better than last year obviously. Let's see how they respond to their success and see what happens with Gasol and Mayo. But if they can retain Gasol, they look like strong contenders for one of the spots leaving just one spot left. Given Nash's consistency and ability to make those around him better, an appearance by the Suns wouldn't surprise me. Nor would one by the Clips who have a lot of talent. The Rockets, probably not so much but who knows. Us, yeah of course but a lot depends on Harris and Hayward to me, I suppose, as well as Jefferson's conditioning and leadership. If I had to guess, we'll finish with about the same record as last year and get the 12th pick in the draft, give or take.
