Probably should've read thru this as the answer to my question is likely somewhere in here but what is the general consensus on Exum thus far in the season?
I don't get to watch as many games as I would prefer but from the little that I have seen, he appears to have retained his "near-elite" physical tools, continues to provide very good defense, & seems to be getting slightly more comfortable/aggressive on offense (although there is certainly still much room for improvement). Is this a reasonably accurate assessment?
He may never turn into that true superstar (although I still see him as having a very high floor due to his physical tools, basketball iq, defense, etc) but I believe that the high expectations that were (rightfully) placed on him out of the draft have occasionally influenced the general perception of where he currently is at this point in his early career.
Would love to hear a more educated opinion on his progress (keeping in consideration the fact that he's a 21 year old, who missed a full year of development & is coming off of a serious injury after making about as drastic of a leap in competition as one can possibly make) & whether he has truly "gotten it" or if he's still in the process of "getting it".
