The “I’m a Mike Conley hating bitch” list

You were right, and there is no denying it. The Conley trade was really bad.
I knew that i was always gonna be right because i have at least some perspective on the horizon, and what was on the way.. Mike Conley was ALWAYS TOO OLD... It just never added up..

the mike conley addition was a move to combat the NBA of yesterday, not the NBA of tommorow... that is truly the fatal flaw of it all.. and BOOM so much agency the Jazz had to maneuver peices around 2 excellent peices in Gobert and Mitchell was just given away --- and a franchise like Utah, most any smaller market franchises, cant recover from such big misses... and they've had Rudy and Mitchell bending over backwards for 2nd rd exits ever since...

I hate to see it... It was sooooo unnecessary.. and in the same timeframe teams have gone from the doldroms to above utah's status, with much younger rosters, how can you be surprised by that..

IT's just crazy to me the $$$ involved... The decision makers thought these were reasonable moves... These were EXTREMELY RISKY moves...

The way that this forum seamlessly transitioned from being hook line and sinker on the "flexibility and player development"tip into paying Mike Conley 35mm per year, thats crazy to me...

I guess its partly my fault because so many around here want me to be wrong, I dont really know what other basis they had to believe in the conley move

ya know what the worst part of it all is Conley is just out there game after game, season after season, trying to play mistake free ball.. He's not out there trying to win the championship... Thats what you paid $200mm for hahhaha... It's preposterous... What did you think in the first place was gonna happen?

It seems to me it was all a scheme to get fans in the seats and then their money out of their pockets, and nothing more...

CERTAINLY, IT WASNT A SCHEME TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.... Now thats a story only a sucker could believe.

The fact i was in such a minority around here calling the mike conley initial signing preposterous is all u need to know about the BBIQ round here.
You were anything but a minority in this, at least here on Jazz Fanz. Many if not most of us felt it was a bad trade. Others were on the fence or took a "wait and see" approach. There were a vocal few who really liked the trade. All in all I think we can confidently say it was not a great move, maybe even a really bad move, with the benefit of hindsight.

They tried to do it with Hayward and then ****ing Gobert and Mitchell fall in their laps and the f/o tries to do it again... It's so preposterously flawed... Thats not how you win the championship vs the monsters of the league today...

You need to hit like 4 or 5 homeruns to pull it off and what happens is the Jazz get one or 2 n then they start bunting and playing to manufacture singles n ****... Its not how you win in TODAYS and TOMORROWS NBA...

Quit trying to manufacture a positive story for yourself and just live life. Soak up all the good that naturally happens. No need to make yourself a headline and seek the glory and adulation of jazzfanzers. Take your own advice.
You apparently have not read much of what he has written. You are asking him to go against the entire fake persona he has worked so hard to cultivate here.

There is a hot take on this site for every player on the team to be a bust or a world beater. It's like people want to get their guess out there early so they can do what you're trying to do here and claim that they knew something when in fact they were just throwing **** against a wall.

why wasnt the forum unified in saying this is ****? how did it ever get beyond that from genesis? I rememvber the initial thread where the trade happened me saying this is **** and people went nuts and wanna play contrarian devils advocate, thats how this thread even spawned..

ppl around here they want to settle arguments with personel insults, n they want to subtract the basketball element from the conversation... on a basketball forum..

no there isnt... you gotta have a real narrow perspective to believe something like that to the point where youd type it out n press enter

Throwing **** at a wall was what the Jazz did with 200 million dollars to mike conley and his agent.. not my comments on the signing...
