Despite what one expert said, I do think it's a fluke.

I'm not saying the general notions laid out don't have a lot of truth to them but how many injuries were there in the previous five rookie crops? Ten? How many will there be this year?

Also and maybe most importantly, what exactly occurred on the play in each of these nine injuries?

They need to take this back more than 10 years to get any kind of meaningful sample size anyway. I would like to see this data going back to 1950, let's say. Nice round number and would give us 65 data points.

It needs to be investigated IMO.
