I'm not confident whatsoever in our financial markets the next few years. I think we've all seen our portfolios tank to a degree and know that the wise investor simply has to rise through it. Time and time again, the market has crashed and reset itself, you've just got to stay liquid enough to weather the storm and bite on the rebound.
I'd definitely not draw it until the value is there. When I get to be older, I would prefer just being liquid and not having anything sitting in a volatile environment. Toss it in savings and be done with the roller coaster.
