There really should be some sort of consequences for turning on immediate elections promises.
All through the latter part of the campaign, I understood the $2000 was $1400 over the last stimulus. I can't explain why you didn't.

So at the gym this morning i saw on Fox news that the GOP slogan for next election might be "uncancel America". Interesting.
Also from what I have seen it seems highly likely that Trump will be the candidate again in 2024. Which is really weird.
I mean basically all Trumpers would vote for whoever is the republican candidate whether trump or not.
But if it's not trump then maybe they get some of the staunch repubs that hate trump (like my dad for instance) to vote for the republican. They also could possibly get my vote and others like me.
If trump is not involved then it's pretty likely that myself and my wife dont even vote. If trump is running then I auto vote for the Democrat and so does my wife and my dad would vote 3rd party or not vote at all.
Trump just lost the election, lost the senate and lost the house and got impeached twice and lost a million court battles and helped get the white house attacked.
Pretty bold strategy. And by bold, I mean stupid.
Also, when I'm at the gym there is one tv that is always on CNN and one always on Fox. I mostly don't pay attention to the tvs but occasionally I watch a bit. Is interesting to note the differences in the programming.
CNN typically has news stories on. Today they were talking about things like the pandemic, schools reopening, cabinet picks getting blocked, **** going on in Iran and Saudi Arabia etc.
Fox news typically has panels of news celebrities and also B-list celebrities giving their opinions.
Today they had some b list celebrities (only one I recognized was Kevin sorbo from Hercules and there was some vaguely familiar country singer) complaining about how the left is always attacking them for things they say and do. FOX often discusses trump, generally favorably. They often talk about how the left is destroying the country. Rarely do they seem to discuss actual factual current news. Kinda interesting.
Mostly I just listen to Pandora and if I'm watching TV it's sports center but when I do squats the FOX tv is right in front of me and when I do deadlifts the CNN tv is right in front of me so I do watch a little bit of both. Have to read the subtitles to know what they are saying.

I’m genuinely interested in those like @Douchebag K who are critical of our president, what your age is and what you know about past presidents? Which, presidents in your opinion, have been good public speakers? Why is this important to you? Does it matter more if a refiner is a good public speaker vs able to lead?
Why I ask is that historically some of our best presidents, were not great public speakers. Take forever sample those on Rushmore. Three out of four were known to be less than stellar public speakers. One in particular was known far better for his Ability to write than to speak. Some of the best presidents of the 20th century were known for being poor public speakers, Teddy Roosevelt, and Eisenhower.
Just look at the leader of democracy and how she speaks. Merkel won’t ever win anyone over for being a dynamic speaker. Yet, she’s going to go down as one of the best leaders for democracy of all time.
So I think we need to be careful when we criticize. Expand your horizon here.
