I really expected better of God. Sure, save him, that’s very cool, but, and maybe it’s just me, I thought God was all-knowing? And while I’m at it, how do all these people obtain a direct pipeline to God?? Maybe God is just messing with these people?

Sorta. He was a Republican in the 90's and early 2000's. He changed his party affiliation but many still viewed him as a Republican who had pasted a 'D' next to his name on ballots to have a better chance to win in NYC.

I'm not saying he isn't corrupt as the day is long, but prosecuting Adams isn't quite a show of even handedness. It could be painted as an example of what happens to someone who fails the purity test.
