The more I think about it, the more obvious it seems that Ron DeSantis may be, in the political/public arena, the greatest enemy of “freedom of thought” in the United States today. The greatest enemy of “academic freedom” in the United States today. Not my model for critical thinking skills. The man declared war on critical thinking skills.

Wow, DeSantis sounds terrible. The only other person I could compare him to is Hitler after that opinion. I wonder how people in Florida live and learn or survive. I wish people voted for this guy the first time, he seems like a stand up guy:


I bet people hated Mr Anti Critical Thinking over those first 4 years that he would have been voted out. Oh he didn’t? He won with 60% of the vote. What’s that democrats and independents liked his policies so much they switch to vote for him the second time?

Must be terrible living in FL under his leadership…might look at the results coming in already from this election and it looks like people are trying to get further away from the left wing policies.

I think a Florida opinions are more valuable than a Rhode Island opinion that has blurry view that far away.

I dunno, was Hitler wrong? Communists, gays, and je… I mean globalists were awful back then too. They too stabbed dear leader in the back just as globalists and the deep state did to Trump in 2020. Now it’s time for pissed off daddy to give liberals a spanking! I hate the other side. Besides, the economy judges tax cuts and inflation or something.

Thirteen former Trump White House officials signed an open letter backing up former Trump chief of staff John Kelly, who told the New York Times that Trump fits the definition of a fascist.

“We applaud General Kelly for highlighting in stark details the danger of a second Trump term. Like General Kelly, we did not take the decision to come forward lightly,” the letter said. “We are all lifelong Republicans who served our country. However, there are moments in history where it becomes necessary to put country over party. This is one of those moments.”

In his interview with the Times, released Tuesday, Kelly also said he observed Trump on multiple occasions praising Adolf Hitler. His comments came on the same day the Atlantic reported that Trump said he wished he had generals like Hitler.

In their letter, the former Trump officials said Kelly’s claims were “disturbing and shocking.” They added that “because we know Trump and have worked for and alongside him, we were sadly not surprised by what General Kelly had to say. This is who Donald Trump is.”

Crazy that this type of thing doesn't resonate with all Americans.

It gets labeled fake news, "mainstream" and so-called "non-MAGA" republicans claim mass hysteria for anyone who espouses such a thought, and it gets brushed under the rug. Ain't none of them got time for that, they need to keep the republicans in power no matter what it takes, because something about the economy and other fake news and Trump hates immigrants almost as much as they do, etc. etc. It is all very technical and hard to understand, or in other words, insane actions of a cult.

But remember you are being very close-minded for not immediately accepting their fake-news explanation of everything as explained by Fox News.
