I liked the post. No need to ban this!
Watching the Joe Johnson video reminded me a ton of Rodney Hood. The video reminded me of something I LOVE but forget over the hibernation season. That is that all three veteran pickups are dopplegangers to our youth:
Boris Diaw - Trey Lyles (both are point forward, difficult matchup, crafty scoring playmakers)
Joe Johnson - Hood (Booth are smooth, sharp shooting scorers with a knack for using their bodies to create space in the lane for a solid midrange - knock down 3 point shooters - similar mannerisms on the court)
George Hill - Dante Exum (Lanky, defense first point guards with an ability to score off the ball)
I don't know if you could hand pick better dopplegangers to our 3 youth than these three. There might be 2 or 3 other options as mirrors of their future selves, but they probably weren't available and I would like to hear who they are (barring All Stars). There is a concern that they might be too similar... but then I think... nah. If one of the two are on any given night, they will get the minutes. There is another concern that the youth won't get the minutes. But... they were injured last season so this gives us depth.
Let TRAINING CAMP begin with 3 youth learning to improve their craft from 3 similar vets.
I am drinking gallons of the chocolate rally churro coolaidsplooge right now.
