While, overall, there may not have been decisive winner, the prevailing narrative leans heavily in Obama's favor due merely to the fact that he did better this time around. If Obama showed up in the first debate, NONE of these superlatives would need to be mentioned. In other words, exactly what I said would happen.

Yes, I can list a good number of articles that point to Obama winning. This goes to show you that the media is portraying a mixed bag. Not a landslide for either man. So no you are not totally right. Just partially.
