The Donovan Mitchell Hype Thread! (repository of highlights and effusive praise)

You do know that the 6'4" Tony Allen and the 6'2" Avery Bradley are considered 2 of the best wing defenders in the league and play the 2 right? Mitchell might not have the height but he has the length and strength to be able to guard all those guys you listed effectively

Fine, you have Exum guard these guys. Mitchell will guard the 1.

What's his point?

none of the people you mentioned are named either Dante or Exum, so please kindly gtfo. tia. gtfo doe. ok.

Jimmy Butler 6'7 Minn,Klay Thompson 6'7 GS,Danny Green 6'6 SA,Devin Booker 6'6 Phoenix,Robertson 6'7 OKC,Harden 6'5 Houston,Derozen 6'7 Toronto,Hayward 6'8 Boston,Middleton 6'8 Milw,JR Smith 6'6 Clev,Batum 6'8 Charlotte,Fournier 6'7 Orlando,........ Night after Night having DM guard players 3 to 5 inches taller than him .This isn't a 19 yr old Tatum like SL he's going to try and intimidate and get away with it. I think Exum ,even though he wants to play PG and Hood will guard these guys.It won't be Mitchell.

How many of those dudes really have post games though? There is an advantage of having a smaller center of gravity to get into people's personal space while they are dribbling or going up for their shot. That can be negated by a good post-up game ala Kobe, but not a ton of players have that and DM has enough strength to make that tough for people who aren't advanced in the post.

Whoops, guess I missed the point of this thread.

hahaha. no, I think you understood the topic of this thread perfectly. If you made a mistake, it was by replying to hotttleikeeen.... He only sees things from some weird dumbed-down perspective that's all related to Dante Exum. He's giving hotttnickkk a run for the dumbest poster in the history of jfc.

I remember one Gordon Hayward trying to back down Avery Bradley and having the shot blocked.
