After the first games of the season some folks on this board were worried that our good old Derrick had suddenly morphed into a beast by aggressively attacking the basket, imposing his will on the opposing front court, flashing his mid-range jumper, and crashing the boards.
No worries, guys: the Dude is back! In the last 5 games Favors posted a familiar line of 12-8 -1.2 on the 50% shooting. You don't notice him often but he is out there somewhere: smiling, scoring an occasional basket or a block, fully content of being a bit above average. It feels so good that on a team where so many people and things have changed someone remained the same. The Dude.
P.S. And how silly I was thinking that Derrick has finally came into his own.
