I just noticed that the All-Star voting period started yesterday. Lauri, because of his unique playing style, is one of my favorite players to watch in the NBA, along with Nikola Jokić and Steph Curry. I hope he gets selected. He’d deserve it. Our hard tanking pretty much ruined his last season. It would also increase his trade value in case we decide to move him. A lot of great players are trying to squeeze in, as always. And we’re a small market with fewer fans than in bigger markets. It could be tough. But I’m trying to remember to give my votes to Lauri anyway.

I wouldn't say "a little" but that's it.
I believe the Jazz will find a way to do the opposite of what common sense and/or educated knowledge dictates.

 

[Step-Back Lauri]

We need a 3pt hot streak for the guy. He's tanked his 3pt% to ~35 again like last season. I checked out he has nine games with ten+ 3p attempts, in which only two of them he's gone above his career average 37%. Be it the increased minutes and tiredness, shot form or shot selection, he has to do better on that area. There's nothing much more bothering me this season. But with all the hail we need to also keep him accountable. I know you read these Lauri: play like tonight. Go in hard and get it going, then threes fall in too.
