Rondo just went for kibbles. Could a package of Kanter Gobert and a couple first rounders net us something like two bonafide starters on a calibre team?

favors-Hayward-burks plus two starters plus are bench plus maybe Millsap would be a killer bad boy team.

Or maybe sign Gasol to the max then make a trade. We could look at a solid team next season.

Let's trade Rudy for Earl Watson. Then we will have a good PG or something.
 
I think we would be better off trading Exum for Earl Watson. Gobert can easily net us a second rounder.
 
Gobert for Lebron James. It might not work out with the salary cap, but that's the only player in the league better than Gobert. Cleveland might have to throw in a second round pick to sweeten the deal. We all know how DL loves those second round picks.:)
 
Hard to know if the OP is joking or not, but the market for Gobert is massive. in terms of trade value he is probably somewhere along the 20st place in the league right now. And this isn't a joke or homerism. This is just based on what he has shown this year and the massive value a truely intimidating defensive five with decent FT shooting has.

Now why would you want to trade Gobert is a completely different question, and the important one, because, really, why ? It makes no sense !

Yes welcome. And not only was the OP joking, he IS a joke, known as an "alt account", so he was created by someone bored who wanted to "prank" everyone else. Kind of like this:

Love it veji1. I also have trouble distinguishing when people are serious or just being funny on this forum. Must be due to our just being serious minded people who are not given to letting our minds wander to the ridiculous thought.

On the subject of Mr. Gobert I have no sense of humor. Ready to fight to the end to keep this guy in a Jazz uniform. OR maybe we just have no sense of humor!!

I'm sure DL has been getting calls about Gobert including many sobbing calls from the Denver GM.

I think DL would pull the trigger if it had the makings of a Ricky Williams Saints trade.
