Gobert has a ton of value, but you won't likely get an "equal value" deal for him. The main issue is he's a "Stifle Tower" and can shoot a bit for freebies (he'll only get better). Given what he does in the paint, the tone he sets defensively on the floor, and he can does this while greener than goose crap? That's scary potential with already some tangible results. It's hard to really gain equivalent value for that given his contract.

Hard to know if the OP is joking or not, but the market for Gobert is massive. in terms of trade value he is probably somewhere along the 20st place in the league right now. And this isn't a joke or homerism. This is just based on what he has shown this year and the massive value a truely intimidating defensive five with decent FT shooting has.

Now why would you want to trade Gobert is a completely different question, and the important one, because, really, why ? It makes no sense !

Yes but I like to consider all option. There is something wrong with exploring market value? Not like i would not trade prime Karl Malone for prime Pippen and Jordan.
