I keep looking for a rational belief system that embraces all the facts. In a world of propaganda, political liars, and astonishing unabashed corruption, this is perhaps just a fool's errand, tilting at windmills so to speak.
I am sincerely trying not to just fall for "The Devil Runs The World" theories. The CIA has a policy of claiming the credit, and who am I to dispute that? Wouldn't be the first lie from the CIA.
The old-time Mormons, after being run out of Kirkland, Ohio for a failed bank that sank during a regular Panic run on banks, and being run out of Missouri because they didn't believe in slavery, and annoyed their neighbors with bold aspirations claiming Western Missouri was the Garden of Eden and the new American Zion, a Gogolian "Shining City on the Hill", and still yet after being run outta Illinois for Polygamy, because "The Elect Lady" Emma Smith fed rumors to the Nauvoo Expositor betraying her husband's persistent belief in "The Principle", have also had to try to bury a number of fake prophecies on politics. All of these forays into arrogance would make books on their own merits, no doubt..... a hem..... alre4y have been made out into various books contending for the title of sensible history, so to speak.
First Joseph Smith described a future war between the States over slavery, where England was to be brought in, then other countries, until the whole world was at war. The facts of the matter were that English interests started the US Civil War through a program of promoting the contending causes of Abolition and Secession in susceptible communities through newspapers and Masonic Lodge operations, and political financing of the two sides. But working for the Devil has it's risks. Hitler bit the financial hand and the political hands of his ringmasters, and tried to take the whole Circus.
But the game actually worked out for the industiralists who build the weapons for both sides of World War II, and it will work again for the weapon-makers for WW III.
I believe Oscar Wilde mak3e fun of the global puppet show in his play "The Importance of Being Earnest" where "Earnest" is symbolic of the Globalists and the little ladies in love with Earnest are symbolic of the general public. We always ;pve the "Earnests" in our news.
So anyway, the skeptic that I am of even believing myself, here is my current global view.
The Russian-Ukranian war is another "Bowery War", with all the latest propaganda on display. Some oligarchic figures have already taken the fall and been eliminated, and some others are the big winners. That's about it. oh, and some tens of thousands of meaningless little casualties, and ten million or so new refugees committed to forever dependence on socialism. But oh, the wonders of war. Look at the oil stocks, the weapon-makers' stocks.
Taiwan? I can hardly believe nobody in the whole world wants the truth. "Taiwan" is not Chinese territory. The indigenous people there are Formosans, closely related to the Filipinos. They were invaded by Japan and then China. If we want to reunify "China", we need to ship the Chinese folks back to the mainland. Chiang Kai Shek finally surrenders. But the Chinese Civil War goes on. And we should stand up for freedom on Taiwan. And Independencde for Formosa, a we should call it. About half of the Filipinos today have ethnic Chinese heritage, and newly elected President Marcos says he wants better relations with China. But most of those Chinoy folks are sentimentally more "American' like the people of Hong Kong and Singapore. Well, "Brit-American", at least.
The most important thing we could do to support human rights and peace in the world is to ditch our Brit Royal City of London "friends" and just be Americans, and just promote human rights without our military industrialist lobby making a war of it.
The Brits are fine folks if only they could remember the use of the Magna Carta, just like Americans are fine folks if only we would remember our founding principles and ideas of governments elected by the people without corrupt political hacks messing up the ballot count.
Being a paid political hack should be a crime with serous prosecution. It is essentially Treason against mankind.
