Well you could also argue that Jerry quit. If that is all DW said then it was time for SLoan to go because I can assure you that Sloan had to deal with a lot worse than that from Ostertag and Malone.
 
It was time for both of them to move on. Each for his own good and the good of the team. Sad that it happened the way it did, and I still don't care for Duron. If Kidd makes it to Christmas without a run-in with Williams I will bring the bear to the annual Castle Dale Jazzfanzer New Years get together.

Seems from the interview that the Diva trade was Greg's idea after seeing what NJ had been willing to offer for Crymello, and pretty much knowing that Diva wasnt coming back. And that they had to talk Gail into it. Glad they finally got the truth out there.

For the record, I have never said Deron was blameless. I tend to think that the truth in a dispute is somewhere in the middle. I also don't think Deron has forced a coach out, I think with Sloan he was just kind of done more or less and Deron was a reason for that, and that Prokhorov (sp?) is quick on the trigger.
 
Truth is the Jazz rehired Sloan. Now they want to reinstate his reputation. In order to do this they call out DWill. It's not even bad for DWill, as he got blamed and called out by at least 50 ppl over the last season. So who cares?
