What's new

The official countdown til Dragic thread.

I think Dragic would stay in Utah because he needs to align his contract with the TV contract and he will be able to put up bigger numbers here. I imagine he would want to resign for 2 years with the second being a player option. Making him a FA in either 2017 or 2018.

Would it be worth it? I think so.

1) We have to start winning at some point or we are going to lose Hayward.
2) 2 1/2 years sounds about right for Exum/Hood/Gobert developement.
3) The way we are playing we are going to pick around 10 with or without Dragic.

I wouldn't send a first but I would send Kanter without batting an eye. I would even be willing to throw in a future second if it helped seal the deal.

I don't understand why Dragic wants out of Phoenix or doesn't like the Suns' system. It is Hornacek's system that turned him into a potential max-money player in the first place. A 3rd of the league would not be trying to trade for him or creating cap space for him, if it wasn't for the Suns. I don't recall such massive bidding for him when he was Houston's starting PG. He should beg to stay with the Suns because he will get the money and be the best showcased player.

I guess we know why Sacramento didn't want to keep Thomas. Apparently he's quite the ball hog, Byr comparison, Trey Burke actually shoots fewer FG attempts per minute than Thomas. In an attempt to hedge their bet against Bledsoe leaving, Phoenix brought in a player who has alienated the one guard they WANTED to keep. But he is being a bit of a biatch. Phoenix even gave his brother a job. Sounds like there is something esle going on (similar to Enes). Perhaps he doesn't see Phoenix as a contender. I can guarantee you he wouldn't be happy in Utah, either.

now put this words in a frame and make sure hayward will not tell the same in 4 years

jazz should start to push for the playoffs in 2-3 years and try to look like a real basketball team

Key: Don't get Isiah Thomas since it seems he has been disliked by the team's best player in each situation.

He's a bigger ballhog with tunnel vision than Trey. I can imagine why star players don't like him...
