The OFFICIAL don't draft Joel Embiid thread

Almost every lottery team if not all of them would take Embiid if they had the #1 pick.
If Jazz have #1 take him and trade Kanter, Favors, or Gobert.
Does not seem too risky.

Brow is 6ft 9 and change barefoot. Embiid will be listed at 7ft in NBA. i see him being legit 6ft 11. and he has an elite length.

you sir have no idea what you are talking about.

only thing i agree is that he is indeed a project.

Per pace adjusted minutes, he's averaging more points AND rebounds than Davis did as a freshman, and scoring more efficiently. His PER (I hate this stat FWIW) is also 2.5 points higher than Davis's was. Embiid's stats are as good as Davis's freshman stats.

This is incorrect per bball reference.
Davis: 35.1
Embiid: 28.8

With turnovers being the difference maker in the disparity.

not true. i still think jabari parker has a great shot at #1.

march performance will be critical for many of these players.

Embiid is the obvious choice at #1. One of the highest ceilings of any big-man in recent memory (he's got a higher ceiling than Brow IMO)

Enamored with ceilings this board is..

Normally we'd be clamouring after some UK player, but it looks like the team is headed for the NIT for a 2nd straight year.

Could Sene do this in college?
