What's new

The official Don't let the balls go the way for Lakers Thread.

I just played (one time) the lottery machine and Lakers didn't have a pick in the lottery. I guess that's a possibility?

Philly took both Fox and Monk.

Tony Jones was talking about how Randle will hurt Ball's primary strength, transition.

I hope he does and I hope Ball's dad goes bananas.

Of course the Lakers get the #2 pick.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but the NBA draft lottery results do seem suspect sometimes.

Every year I become more and more convinced the Lottery has nothing to do with luck. It is too convenient the way the balls fall too often. Giving the 2 most storied and winning big market teams the #1 and #2 pick is a bit much this year. Lakers jumping to #2 three times in a row(because #1 3 times in a row might be too much for other teams fans...). Watching Lebron leave Cleveland and then Cleveland gets the #1 pick. Things like that happen too much.

I dont think it is completely rigged but I think odds are in certain teams favor more than just the ping pong balls.

I mean Boston had the best odds of getting #1.....

The funny thing is the Kings pick jumped into the top 3 but Vlade did that stupid trade to free up cap-space to sign Marco Bellineli and Kosta Koufus w/ the Sixers for rights to swap picks.

Everyday I want Lonzo Ball on the Lakers more and more. He's going to be the most hated NBA player before he even steps foot on the court.

Wow.. that's a really stupid trade.

I'm cool with Lonzo. He actually seems like a decent enough kid, all things considered.

His dad is an incredible piece of work.

Lonzo is good. But im not sure if he will be that good to be on Kidd's level.
