The Official: Dont trade Burke for Lawson thread.

Not a fan of the trade, but if it goes down, I'm rooting for an implosion so the Jazz choose to release him at the years end.

Are you for real? I'm not a fan of Lawson but if he plays for Utah I want him to get his act together and start balling out of his mind. Why? Because that helps the Jazz.

Him imploding hurts the Jazz

Come on man...

If he implodes he will get the raja bell treatment. I don't want him to blow up on the court. I want him gone at this years end. I don't want anyone starting over Exum next year. He's the potential star we need and we needed him yesterday.

Most are looking at the present. I'm looking to the future, and what's best for the future is that Exum progresses sooner rather then later.

If Burke wants out then I guess do it. But I see one of two things happening. He either A. Doesn't show up for class. Or B. Shows up for class but doesn't care so doesn't try.
I don't understand what is being said here

You wouldn't want lawson to redeem himself and play like an all star and help the jazz get into the second round of the playoffs?

That's since serious haterade right there

What if lawson blows up and helps the jazz reach the second round of the playoffs this year, the jazz pick up his option for next year and since he played so well for us his value is high and we trade him for some good players/draft picks and then start exum next season?

Would you hate that too?

Or why can't Jazz have 3 guard rotation? I know it put Exum off the ball sometimes, but thats not strength. I hope if we can get Ty he does real well an like it Jazz and we have our guard rotation for the next 4 years or more?

Not hating, just don't want anything to stand in Exum's way. I'm looking to the future. Playoffs would be nice, but not going to be a huge deal to me as long as they are competing for a spot. When Exum went down I changed my thinking and expectations from competing in playoffs to just being competitive and vying for an 8th spot, and we are. I'm all about the baking.

What if lawson playing great didn't stop Exum from being the starter next year?

What if lawson played great and then was not even on the team next year?

Could you root for him and the jazz to do well then?
