I have a work dinner in Provo at 6:00 and don't know how long it will go. I told Ballou 8:30ish but could be 8. We shall see.

I'll call it like I see it. It's kinda ******** (<------------thanks to the family friendly filter) that old and new members of JF are coming together and you're too busy. Not to mention Ballou is trying to make something of himself (against monumental odds) and folks (bound by your site) are coming together in support... but the leader can't make it.

Granted, I'm not making it tomorrow, but I'm just a normal poster.. not 'the' guy.

I'm sensitive to family time, tight schedules.. but this seems important, at least as far as I see it. You can either be the site owner that views members coming together as a non-priority, or show that you get it and think it's cool.... and show up in support... and appreciation.

Not to mention your wife wants to some and deal some cards..... and if she was my wife, I'd take her to the event.

Quite a call out and maybe a little outta line here peeks (love ya bro) since jason did say he is busy friday and therefore maybe just can not make it

However I think that you (jason) would get an amazingly warm welcome (I love jazzfanz and you are the godfather) so it would be awesome if you (jason) came to this shindig even for a few minutes

Lol... hopefully most know it's just a classic guilt trip sales pitch said tongue in cheek.
 
Hey, no pressure on Jason. For one, poker isn't everyone's thing. If this was a scrapbooking event I probably wouldn't be there. It would be super awesome and it seems like we are getting a ton of the top posters on the site coming out and Jason would be the icing on the cake.

I hope there is a next time, but I can't make any guarantees.
