The **Official** I Endorse Dave Ballou Thread

We should come up with a fun way for the kids at home to play along. Fantasy poker anyone?

Nobody should pick me
I don't plan on winning.

I'm only coming for the lolz and the drinks..... just good times for me

And I don't know **** about playing poker

Simplest way to do it would be to find 5 posters that want to play in the "poker fantasy game" then we would have a 2 round draft where each poster selects 2 jazzfanzers that will be playing in the tourney.

Most points accumulated by your two poker players (according to the formula we used in the past) wins.

I dunno if anyone would want to do it, but I would be curious to see who gets drafted first :)

Okay, now we need 5 posters.

Ready, set, go...

And by show of hands, how many people are interested in the high hand of the night thing. Let me add a couple of details in case it's confusing.

First, it's sort of a way to add action for people who are looking for more action.

Here's how it will work.

Only those who want in will have their high hand count.

In order for your hand to be eligible it must either take the pot and be shown to the table or be shown at the showdown. Either way it is your responsibility to bring the hand to my attention before the next hand. If your hand is shown at the showdown but is beaten by a non participating player it is still eligible.

If you fold the hand it is not eligible.

You only need to bring the hand to my attention if it beats the current high hand.

If you have the high hand but leave before the tournament is finished you will still win the pool. I will contact you to make arrangements.

Make sense? Sound like fun?

No Devin, GF?

No, I emailed him but haven't heard back.

On that subject, unless there are two volunteers to deal (and play...or someone who wants to come and deal and not play) it'll be players deal until it's down to one table. I want things to be as even as possible between the tables so I can't be a non-playing dealer on one and have rotating players deal on the other.
