The **Official** I Endorse Dave Ballou Thread

If it means Gameface can play too, I'd be willing to deal and play. Probably have to call in some reinforcements a time or two when I inevitably have questions.

Probably in on the high hand thingy.

I know the easy money is attractive but I'm not looking to play. Want to focus on running a smooth tournament. The rebuy stuff and the fact that I'm out of practice for about a year tells me I shouldn't try to play poker at the same time as host. I'm way cool with that. Hosting is funner than playing for me.

I can deal if you need someone. Won't there need to be 2 dealers even if you don't play?

Yeah, would need two volunteers. It's either both tables get a dedicated dealer or neither does.

Oh, I thought you were gonna be one of the dealers.

I can deal, or not. Doesn't matter, but I have a hard time seeing how anyone coming wouldn't know how to shuffle cards and pass them out. Almost everyone is used to taking turns as the dealer I would think

It's got to be even. If both tables have a dedicated playing dealer that's cool, but one can't have a non playing dealer with the other having a playing dealer. Maybe it seems like a pretty silly distinction, but each table has to be relatively even. I'll be dealing once we're at one table, but I will not be a non playing dealer if the other table doesn't have the same thing.

I think everyone will be fine with taking turns dealing honestly.

I'm assuming the game is No Limit Texas Hold'em? Two trips in one day from the land of TDS! The things we do for our insurance bitch...I mean agent.
