What's new

The Official Keep Harris and Big Al thread

The performance of the team is really backing up KOC's lack of moves. This guy might really know what he's doing.

Jefferson has been really, really good this year. Kanter has not, but what he has shown is good enough to believe in. Kanter could take several years to become ready. AJ by himself is not in the way of Favors.

I really am starting to believe the frontcourt will remain intact for the next season. It is such a huge strength to have 4 bigs that could start on most teams.

If It's possible for the Jazz to land a #5 seed this season what is the ceiling for next? Maybe keeping all these guys for one more push could work out.

Do you think having four starter-quality bigs that can't play enough minutes, or three starter-quality bigs but with a better PG, or better/real SF. Let's just say Stephen Curry or... I don't know, Danny Granger or Iggy (not saying they're necessarily still on the block, but they have been).

I don't know myself, not being able to play all of your best players the minutes they should doesn't seem like a great idea. I can see a few advantages, but not enough.

Maybe. Just saying it's a possibility. I don't think it's a coincidence that the Jazz have been so healthy. Probably it's close to inevitable somebody is traded but their value will likely go up if KOC waits until the deadline. You're probably right and it probably won't matter anyways. Having all that depth is more of an advantage this year than will be next, and the 2 young guys will be more ready by then too. Just daydreaming I guess.

That all seems incredibly obvious, hope it is to Jazz management.

Another thing they have to ponder is the mix of players they need going forward. They look set to dominate down low, so what goes with that? 3 ball shooters! Jazz need one or two of those, a Matt Bonner kind of guy. Not a Caroll kind of guy. More shooters please!
