I don't see a lot of games , so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but based on the little I've seen, and reading the posts here, I have some comments that the coaches might want to think about.
Clearly the usual starting lineup is not getting it done.
Clearly some of the players are frustrated or losing confidence.
i have some ideas that might shake things up enough to get the team out of it's funk. I would seriously consider any or all of the following, in no particular order.
1. Spreading the minutes around more would be worth trying. I like to see players hustle their azes off. It's easier to do that for 5 minutes than for 18 minutes at a time. Consider using more players, for shorting stints on the floor.
Some players would play better if they played fewer minutes at a time, and were rotated in and out more frequently, so they were always fresh.
2. Can Kirilenko still play PF? He used to do it well. Miles looked okay in his start at SF. Millsap is a great 6th man.
3. Miles might be a better SG than Bell now, not sure, but I suspect Hayward and Miles may both prove to be more effective at SF than SG, so what about this:
4. Playing two point guards at the same time. Sloan used to do this a lot with great success, (and it's fun to watch!). Let Price or Watson guard the other teams PG, and help bring the ball up, and tell Williams to focus on scoring a lot, and drawing defenders to get open looks for the rest of the team.
5. Use Fes more. Is he really that bad? He gets no playing time. He's looked fine the few times I've seen him. I don't care if he is a bad free throw shooter, we've got bigger problems to worry about. He's big, and he can hustle if you give him a few minutes..
That's it for now. Just suggesting. Good luck to the team and the coaches.
I could be off base here, just throwing things out. Bell and Kirilenko have been two of my favorite players, but the Williams , Bell, Kirilenko, Millsap, Jefferson starting lineup is not working lately.
