The **OFFICIAL** Rudy Gobert is awesome how did he fall to the 27th pick? Thread

I predict Gobert will start next to Favors by the end of the year, with Kanter off the bench with significant minutes.

LOOOLLL no way we can't score if they start lol this situation in offense is more stupid than dh12 omer asik combo

Thanks bro, appreciate it.

You still haven't answered my question re The River Wild and Deliverance - are they your favorite movies????

Oh yeah, I forgot about that! Haha. Deliverance is classic. River wild is actually pretty good river action though, not too dramatized as far as the river running goes. Like em both. Except for the pig part in deliverance...

How did they teach these actors to navigate through those rivers though, that's would be my question???????

I have wondered that myself. The rivers they filmed on for the river wild are pretty intense, and the one in deliverance is even more difficult. I think it was probably not them some of the time. I have a hard enough time training my new guides every spring, let alone some Hollywood actors!

Yeah I know! Some shots are really realistic too!!! Same with Deliverance, one of my 10 most fav. movie... I usually just fast pass the pig scene though..hahaha..

Same with "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" - loved the whole movie, but I'd have to fast forward the rape part if I'm gonna watch it again.

It's a shame really... they don't need those scenes IMO.

In the pre-draft footage I saw of him he was getting pushed around quite easily. By guys Millsap's size.

I've only had a chance to see one of the summer games, game #1, and I'm curious if this is not a big problem for him. I figured when we drafted him that this was going to be his main problem, not scoring, but just not being heavy/strong enough to hold his position.

So, how's he doing with that?

Surprisingly well, IMO.

The main place where lack of strength has been hurting him is in securing rebounds. He gets the ball stripped really easily.

So your river rafing business is in Jackson Hole? Might need to come up there for a visit.
