But he plays defense.Quickley can easily average 20ppg in the right system. His game is extremely similar to Maxey

Hate to break it out to you but most of his points come during garbage minutes against OKC bench/G leaguers. He did make a couple of impressive buckets against Chet though. Also what is up with the Keyonte trades?
I mean literally the last game he started and finished before his injury he had 30/7/3 with +5 BPM against OKC... you know... the likely future competition OKC.
Dude is playing the hardest role in basketball exceptionally well for a 19 year old rookie, and some of you want to cut bait?
We dont want to but you have to give something to get something. Also what is up with the Keyonte trades?

Its a move that would push us towards the play in... just not sure long term that is what you want to spend those resources on. If he is on a max and Lauri is on a max those are your two pillars. How far does that take you? Budget won't allow you to add a whole lot more. You still need a player better than both of them to be any kind of contender.Sometimes it's worth it. He would be a guaranteed piece to take you to the playoffs.
Maxey? You mean the guy who managed to register a negative DBMP in each season while pairing with one of the leagues best defender in Embiid? Quickley's defensive numbers, both basic and advance, were actually better than Maxey'sBut he plays defense.
I get that, but didnt Andy Larsen already list him as the sole untouchable? We dont want to but you have to give something to get something.
I guess we can sit here and circle jerk lopsided trades, but sometimes you got to make tough decisions. Keyonte is a ways away at this point. He might never even be as good as Quickley is.
It was widely reported that he tried to trade for Jrue Holiday before the season.I'm not saying he should be building around Lauri. Ainge may think he's a Robin, and he may well be right.
But quite a few people seem to think we should be treating Lauri as a centerpiece going forward, and I'm just pointing out that expecting Danny to take such a path is probably futile. He would have made some moves into that direction already if that was his plan.

If that's your view then just blow it completely up.Its a move that would push us towards the play in... just not sure long term that is what you want to spend those resources on. If so and if Andy is carrying FOs water, then we probably should theorycraft with him, right?
No, IQ plays DMaxey? You mean the guy who managed to register a negative DBMP in each season while pairing with one of the leagues best defender in Embiid? Quickley's defensive numbers, both basic and advance, were actually better than Maxey's
I doubt anyone is untouchable.I get that, but didnt Andy Larsen already list him as the sole untouchable?
