I suspect something happened between him and Quinn. He played great in the Houston series, and he seems to play pretty well against scrubs in the pre-season. Imho, I think he is traded this year before the deadline.

Good thread. He's looked pretty good so far. I'm liking his return to aggression but in a way that's less risky. Still seems to become too much of a placeholder on offense for stretches tho.

I can agree that a healthy Alec is probably our 6th best player, but I'm playing Alex Jones and saying the chem trails made the frogs gay and Alec the first to go

A healthy Alec Burks playing within the offense and defense is a very nice player to have off the bench. That’s always been the knock on Burks, his stupid Houdini plays where he was always on the ground. His inability to properly use offensive sets, ie. not using screens. And ball watching on defense. It’s taken years, but he seems to finally be getting it.

I’m still not a big fan of his shot, not enough arc, but he’s seems to be knocking down a good percentage any time his man goes under the screen.

Knock on wood, he can keep up this play. 3 years ago I would have said it was impossible.
