the top 5 worst jazz signing in past decade?

Saying Mo Williams is an all-star is like saying Memo's one. And that's not a compliment.

Yes it is. It is better to be an all-star lite, or a all-star sub, or a guy-the-coaches-think-is-pretty-darn-good-so-we'll-throw-him-a-bone than not... OUr option with Mo Williams was Lopez. So I would have rather had Mo Williams, a pretty darn good player. That was probably the best example of a non-signing mistake of someone we knew well.

Is the subversive point of this thread to prove that the FO has been pretty good? Because it's working. If an overpaid but still productive AK is number one, and everyone's arguing what order Harp, Amaechi, Giricek, or Arroyo come in, then I think we're in good hands. Contrast it with the positive moves and it looks even better. Not much signing of FA's, but Booze, Okur, and to a lesser extent Matthews were pretty impressive. The Gugs deal might not have turned out as storybook as everyone dreamed, but Hayward should be much better than what we could have gotten at our usual 25. Moving up to get Deron reigns supreme in the draft. And first round misses have been largely offset by second round finds like Sap and CJ. If Big Al works out, they can sign KOC to a contract for life as far as I'm concerned.

Yell_42... the only person that I ever wanted to see banned. He actually caused me to slightly dislike Andrew Bogut... Hopefully he never finds out about the new site.

Too many to name just 5.
Luthor Wright was a busted draft pick, he never set foot on the Jazz court, and it reminds me of a Jazz trade for Ronny Seikly who bailed out for Greece! Ostertags' huge contract is a certain bust too, along with AK for contracts.

Ah, history. Even better when it's made up.

Honestly if you look at it KOC only big mistake(which may have been forced by LHM)

I suspect that most of KOC's mistakes were actually Larry's mistakes.

Larry loved the young AK and signing him early seemed more of a PR move than a typical patient KOC move.
Larry loved Harpring and the 4 years with bloated contract to repay an aging vetran speaks to Larry's loyalty more than to KOC's sensibility.
Larry got talked into needing a three point shooter one night on LOcke's show--two weeks later jazz acquire a one dimensional, overpaid, 3 point specialist for too many assetts.
