The trade idea that will end all trade ideas

Meh... The things they really screwed up were trading the lakers pick for BK and drafting ennis into a major logjam. They got a pick out of boston for the IT deal and got two first rounders for dragic who is about to get max deal and I think we've seen his best basketball. The sign in was curious but I'm not sure it was a failure... Don't think phx was going anywhere.

That wasn't my point. I wasn't trying to say anything about how good Phoenix is or how good Dragic is. Just demonstrating what happens when you bring in someone that over crowds things and steps on other players toes.

Love Bradley's defense, solid 3 pt shooting, & reasonable contract, but don't see him as a good fit alongside Exum as we need more offense out of our starting lineup. He would make a great Tony Allen (with a shot) type 6th man off of the bench, but I wouldn't give up #12 to acquire him. I believe the pick should be packaged for an offensive minded player who has the potential to eventually start.

No on this trade. The Jazz have a solid young roster, team chemistry, a lottery pick to add to the mix, all the key players under contract, cap space AND the 3rd most picks over the next 4 drafts. . . the big move is NOT this offseason - unless something crazy comes available. It's two years from now. Nothing that the Jazz do between now and then should jeopardize that.

Draft and develop. Add a mid-level FA or two, or rent their cap space and add a couple more picks to the treasure chest. In the meantime, they lock up Snyder long-term and develop all of their core guys, building their defensive identity and figuring out the offense. Make the playoffs and see just how far away they are. Then figure out with to do long-term contract-wise for Hayward, Gobert and Favors. 2016/2017 is when the window for contending will open. This is where you go All-In on the game changing acquisition that takes the team to the next level.

All these trade ideas and plans are about 1-2 years premature. The Jazz need to know what their team looks like before they can know how to chase the missing piece(s).

Agree with Ellis and Hack.
I think the key to this is Exum. Do we have a 30 min/per starter in Dante, or a backup who plays good defense but isn't a consistent shooter?
I know there are 144 mins between the 1/2/3. WE already have 4 guys who could play 30 mins each (Exum, Hayward, Hood and Burks) and a few others who could get some minutes (Burke or Cotton, Ingles and Millsap).

The trade idea is original, but I'm not a big fan of Avery. We can eventually do better. It may not happen this summer, but I think by the deadline or next summer, DL and QS will have their starter and backup in place at PG.

Just don't like Bradley's game at all, besides the defense. Even then, it's hard for me to get excited about a 6'2 defensive SG.
