The Trade Thread!!

We need a thread to keep track of the trade rumors, the trade proposal from posters, who we want to trade, who we feel like we should trade for, etc. If you feel like you need to post about a trade, post in here. We should make this like the draft thread, only with less actual knowledge and more speculation.

I will get us started: Over/under on when Burke and Kanter get traded? 2 months (trade deadline).

lol for a player that came in as a shooter he can't hit the broad side of a barn. this trade actually worked on espns trade machine. my guess the jazz would have to give them a draft pick

Looks like Josh Smith, Greg Monroe and Brandon Jennings are all available. Only one of interest is Monroe but only if he can play alongside Favors and he agrees to re-sign for a non-max deal

Monroe interests me, but mainly because I think he could potentially be very good, but his career has been horribly mismanaged by Detroit. The Jazz seem pretty much set in the front court, but I would at least inquire to see what it would cost to get him. I wouldn't mind seeing the Jazz make a modest investment in him, and then see how he'd fit with Favors/Gobert. Getting him makes Kanter expendable IMO. There has to be a promise to extend though. Don't want to pay quality assets for a short period rental.

Don't want anything to do with Josh Smith or Brandon Jennings. I'd rather make a run at Lance Stephenson than either of those two guys.
