The Trey Burke Thread

Think some vids are in order. Let's remember what he's capable of and not just what he lacks. Remember. ROOKIE.

Trey can't get into the paint. And, he'll never be a lockdown defender. Unless he can become faster with his pass AND a knockdown 3-pnt shooter, then he's a bust. Simple.

Trey was struggling with very simple offense last night. He couldn't even use a screen well enough to create flaws in the defense.

(BTW, Garry Harris scored 30 last night. I'd be shocked if we couldn't have traded Trey for a pick that would've nabbed that guy. 3&D all day and night. ****.)

Other than perhaps arguing over the definition of bust, I agree with this. I don't see lockdown defender, but if he can hit his 3's at 40% then he will play minutes. I predict very good backup.

So now that we were able to draft Exum, essentially getting the 4th pick, is Trey off the hook for the game winner against Orlando?

Karma? Bitches.

It was Ty's fault for having Trey in the game and allowing a last second shot to potentially win that game.

Trey could not have been drafted into a better situation. He came in with some of the worst PGs in the league on his team, making him look better than he is. I was hoping he woulf take a leap forward this year, but if last nights game is any indication, he has stayed the same. It was a weak draft, and hindsight is 20/20, but imagine Exum pairing with MCW in the backcourt. Or having giannis at the 3. Maybe he isnt a bust, but he was a poor choice imo.
