I’d focus on Donald’s leadership. Did the hiring freeze and chaos he’s put our federal government into impact this?

Shouldnt we revisit the traffic over DC? There are other airports nearby. Can’t folks fly into Baltimore and ride a train into DC? Can’t we lighten the load into DC by diverting air traffic (at least during certain parts of the night) elsewhere? Don’t these military helicopters have collision warning systems? Seems to me that most of our sedans have something like that, don’t military helicopters?

Just seems to me like there are other issues we should be focusing on rather than the race and gender of pilots. Then again, I still possess all of my teeth, have never beaten a police officer, and don’t support Trump and his obsession with white nationalism.

Because the new enemy #1 is the DEI hire. And as we all know what DEI hire means is a woman, a person of color, a person in the LGBTQIA+ community, a non-native U.S. citizen. Trump followers are against hiring those people or having them work in positions of responsibility.

In general we should stop expecting politicians to go to disaster sites. There are some occasions where it might be beneficial, but probably not most of the time.

I think the practice of going to disaster sites was one pushed by politicians or their PR person to get a good photo-op or backdrop for a hopefully moving speech. It has never had anything to do with them helping at the scene or forcing them to see the devastation first hand so that they feel more compelled to do something about it.

Imagine if Dump had explained it the same way you just did? No one would’ve complained. The issue is when he made the tragedy all about himself (again). As usual, our mentality ill narcissist took the tragedy and asked if they wanted to “see him swim.” Did he think reporters really wanted to see that? Was he joking? Was that really the right time to joke?

Imagine what Fox News and these other tribal cultish *** clown trolls would’ve said had Biden or Harris made one of the many many MANY tragedies in a crappy red state about themselves? Like, after yet another storm that wrecked large portions of Florida. “What? You want to see me swimming? Don’t they already have enough distractions with that weak governor who wear high heels? That crap hole Florida will never vote for me, why should I visit?”

For me, it’s Donald, as he’s done so many times before, failing to show any empathy towards others and making every story about himself. Whether it’s calling fallen vets in a French cemetery “suckers and losers” and not wanting to visit them because the rain would ruin his hair or him throwing paper towels at Puerto Ricans or taking over a Covid press conference to spout off kook remedies, our teevee narcissist makes everything about himself.

If I was the reporter I would have responded:

No, Sir. I do not want you to swim. There is an invention that I think could help, maybe you haven't heard of it yet. It's called a boat and I think the Coast Guard, Navy and Army all have them, so they would probably be willing to take you to the exact site. I promise, none of them will be electric boats, because I know how scary those are to you.

Wow! Trump’s shock and awe campaign has been really dark and sad. Sick ****s.

The Fed grants/funding freeze caused massive disruptions up and down local govs. Especially low income States, mostly red States, and rural counties. Most of these areas and their population receive federal welfare through grants and local tax redistribution from urban, mostly blue, cities. Low income people, elderly, non profits, veterans, and many other social programs had a system wide shock wave run through them. Terrifying people, many who voted for Trump, by taking away funding for housing and food for poor people. Thank god that judge delayed this. But we see what’s going to the Supreme Court. What’s the end game here? Starve out the poor? Regardless, this caused physical stress and pain to many vulnerable people. Sick ****s.

Immigrants are scared *****ess they’re going to be picked up and sent to a camp. My immigrant neighbors are nowhere to be seen all the sudden. We have ICESS chuds roaming our neighborhoods and businesses. In SLC, they raided Current restaurant last week. They’re hunting people. Sick ****s.

These people are psychopaths, sociopaths, and hoarders and their grifted followers can’t get enough of the suffering from the people they think they’re better than. Sick ****s.

The end game for trump regarding the funding freeze is probably to eventually have them buy trump coins, trump shoes/hats/clothes, trump steaks/food, etc. Take everything from the people and then sell it back to them with the money going to trump.

DEI at the FAA had absolutely nothing to do with the collision. She had hundreds of hours of flying these under her belt. Going to pride events did not cause her helicopter to be at least 100’ higher in elevation than it should have been. Trump is a miserable human being, who told us he wanted to UNITE us. Of course I know that’s a lie on his part, of course he prefers that we be at each other’s throats every waking minute of our lives. See, Trumpers, knowing that is a fact, knowing Trump wants hatred and anger between Americans, that’s not TDS. That’s just huge disappointment that cruelty is the point where our president is concerned.

Trump=cruelty is the point. To some extent, cruelty is a major part of his leadership style. Not wanting an American president to make cruelty to his citizens who disagree with him, or his policies, to be the point of his administration, that is not a form of derangement, Trumpers. Nobody said a president must be cruel and hateful to be successful.

Nothing deranged about it in the least, that’s just decent human beings wondering why the president can’t show empathy and decency? Ever?! Why is not wanting a president to heap hatred onto his fellow citizens, an indication that such a want is “derangement”? To be kind is to be deranged? Curious set of values. Allows people like Loomer to make arguments that lack any factual basis, in order to enhance the cruelty. No reason for Loomer to state Trump was right, DEI did not play a role in the crash.

But, Laura Loomer is an agent of hatred. And MAGA is all about hatred and division, and that’s because that’s how Trump has always wanted it. There are legitimate gripes to be had. But demagogues like Trump don’t give a damn. They just want to use that discontent to gain power. That desire for enhancing division in America is something Trump wants and uses to his advantage. Always has been his M.O. And this is something that Trump supporters have always been unable to actually see.

When Trumpers see anger directed against Trump, they interpret it as TDS.

Trump always has been, always will be, a divisive president. Deliberate divisiveness. Not like we commonly find ourselves disagreeing strongly with a president’s policy, and approve of negative press. Every president elicits derision from their political opponents/opposite party. Comes with the game, and it’s the dynamic in most elections. Negative ads.

But this president’s rhetoric really has been, not simply appalling at times, but so often designed to stoke culture war between Americans. And, it’s in those culture war issues that anger at the opposite point of view is often the hottest. Emotions reign. Trump knows this. He’s a master at knowing how to pit people against each other, individually in game shows, collectively as a demagogue. He knows “the enemy within” attitude, when applied to our culture war issues, keeps emotions ruling the day, dominating exchanges on social media.

He knows all this, and he does it anyway. Whatever else one wants to call that, it’s not responsible leadership.
