As of today, Derrick Favors is no longer a bullet in our chamber. Virtually zero trade value. If he proves himself again, he'll be a trade-deadline asset on the last year of his deal -- which nets us little. If he plays well and we decide not to trade him, then we are placed in a position where we either have to re-sign him or let him walk in the name of flexibility. I think it's fair to say that this is a massive blow to the quality of this (painful) rebuild.
