Now how do I get the silencer for it?

Nope, it only costs $5,600 so definitely not an AK-47. Those go for $10M, for a reconditioned, well-used, older model with questionable shooting range.

They might be cheap compared to other guns, but they are likely the best assault rifle in the world or ever made to this point. Don't have to worry much about where you are fighting they are reliable. Whether it is jungle or sand you can count on an AK-47 not to jam.

While AK-47s don't jam a lot, they aren't particularly good military rifles. From what I hear, poorly trained soldiers tend to fire high with AK-47s and the heavy round causes them to continue to walk up. Even when a person isn't shooting high the loose fit of the parts (the reason they resist jamming) causes them to have poor accuracy all around.

The original M-16 was sold as a "maintenance-free" firearm, so soldiers weren't issued cleaning kits. Add to that the corrosive ammo they were using in them and there were problems. The barrel was quickly upgraded, the ammo changed and maintenance routinely performed. Once all that happened the M-16 was the FAR better rifle in the field.

AK-47s were produced with no connection to reality. The Soviet Union just pumped them out with no regard for market forces. Meanwhile, Soviet citizens didn't have toilet paper. It's estimated that there are around 40 -100+ million AK-47's in existence. No company that had to make a profit on them would have ever produced so many. That's why they are the world standard battle rifle. The Soviet Union used them as currency to bribe warlords, rebels, etc. so they ended up everywhere in large quantities. If Colt had churned out M-16s in the same way, bringing the cost into the couple hundred dollar range, I'm sure the M-16 would be the preferred rifle around the world.

Get a class 3 firearms licence and you can purchase and use a silencer. Silencers are actually becoming more and more popular. While we associate them with spies and assassinations they are a pretty damn practical accessory. Many people who shoot a lot end up with some hearing damage. Indoor shooting only makes that worse. I've heard that hunters are using them as well. That way you don't have to wear hearing protection (which I'd guess a lot of hunters don't use anyway) and you don't spook every animal within 50 miles every time you take a shot.

A 6 thousand dollar riffle for home defense? Get real Lex Luthor. Either way, silencers don't work in real life like they do in movies. I once used a shotgun with a big *** silencer on it, and the hollow quality it adds to the noise only seemed to make it louder!

Guns for cowards, I use machete and knifes for home defense. Plus, cutting and slicing people is much more enjoyable.

Shotguns are not well suited for silencing. A silencer will only dampen the sound caused by the explosion of the gunpowder, and even that only to a limited degree. A large diameter bore, like a shotgun, makes dampening the sound more difficult. Things like the bolt will still make considerable noise, as well as the bullet breaking the sound barrier and causing a small sonic boom.

A silencer usually makes the bullet subsonic hence no sonic boom but no such thing as a true silencer for any firearm
