Dang that was stupid. So trout can break rules, be a complete dick, as long as a majority of posters like him.

Not at all what I said. The guy brought up how posters like Ante_Tomic_Gasol_Stopper and Trout posting a troll thread are the same. It's not the same because that is all the Tomic guy does, whereas Trout has actually made a serious thread (I think...). So yes, a poster with a reputation on here should be treated differently than a new poster who does nothing but troll. Of course, I never said anything about Trout being able to do stuff because the majority of people like him. In fact, no where in my post do the words "like", "majority" or "rule" occur. If you're going to be an insufferable ***, at least try to sound intelligent.
 
He knew the rules. Like Bronco said they have to treat all of the threads like that as the same. I like trout, but you cannot enforce the rules for one and not the other. I do not want to see guys like Memo-for-president or Ante-tomic-gasol-stopper coming back. Those guys were famous for posts exactly like that one and he should be penalized the same as them. Other contributions to the board are irrelevant, that thread was clearly against the rules.

Sorry TB just stating my opinion.

Yeah, I understand that Trout is not a habitual offender. But make up your minds. Trolling in this fashion has always been dealt with the same way. But now you're gonna take a stand, because it's one of your homies? That's nice.

FWIW, I knowingly broke the rules and I expect to get an infraction. I had just noticed that I was down to ZERO infractions (thanks pocket mods!) and that simply wouldn't do. As was pointed out, this isn't the first time I've Mitt-Rolled the board. While I am deeply moved by the support in this thread, I have to agree with Bronco and greg -- treat us all the same. (Gordon knows I've been bitching about that to the mods for a looooong time.)
