Of GF poker.

It's really the end this time. I am going to Las Vegas next weekend to sell my chip collection back to the seller I bought them from in 2006. The price has gone up considerably and despite selling them with enough room for him to make money I am getting approx 2.5X what I originally paid.

I highly doubt anyone here has any interest in purchasing the set but just in case please see my listing on KSL https://www.ksl.com/classifieds/listing/44572864

I will be selling my tables soon as well.

It has been fun and I have met some amazing people hosting poker games. I'm sure in many ways I will regret selling my poker stuff.

Sweet set. I gave up poker a while ago. It's a fun hobby but not great for my nerves and mental well-being when I got serious with it.

Yeah, I'm wondering that. Does a rare bird **** these out or what? I can't imagine they'd be made out of a material worth this much.
They are basically a collectable now. But Paulson chips cost about $1.25/chip when they were being manufactured. So now that they aren't the price for new chips (which are pretty much unavailable) is $3/chip. Gently used is close to that.

I get that almost no one would pay that, but some people do.

Ah, so they're not for playing. I was about to say, I'd hate to pay 5 grand for chips when at least 5% of them would end up behind the couch, between the cushions, or stashed in the water dish by my girl cat.

Going to assume people who buys these are really rich dudes who have big poker games with other really rich dudes.
