What's new

This makes Utah look good

By the way, what a douchebag to be happy that an elected official received physical threats after you gave his personal info, while hiding behind the anonymity of the Internet. I'm sure that had one of the crazies you reached actually acted, that would have been Christmas for you.

I'm guessing you're one of the idiots who actually voted for him. Not so much anonymity, he knows who I am as I told him. He also knows I posted his info (that was public information). Anyone who knows the internet could've found his info, I just made it easier for everyone. People with any malicious intent would've found it anyway.

Who I voted for is immaterial when I consider you a douchebag for being happy that Oda received threats. And you're right that anyone with malicious intents could find that information. You just made it easier. Don't you have a medical lab to destroy or a mink farm to vandalize?

Highest rate of AD use? Whats up with that?

And pyramid schemes? Is there any truth to this?

I think most of the ideas that the cartoonist raised are known by the Mormon public...but not to the rest of the country. I mean, I havent heard of any of that stuff.

Definitely what the artist was trying to do was lambaste the stereotype of Utah mormons. And you are right, it is obvious he is either mormon himself or closely connected to the mormon community.

Pretty easy conclusion to draw. Mormons aren't supposed to drink (their sorrows away) so they find a doctor who'll give them something that does basically the same thing.

The funny thing about that is that different metro areas in Utah are consistently among the "happiest" or "best" places to live lists we see published from time to time. Gallup does a survey of happiest places to live and anywhere from Provo-Orem to Ogden-Clearfield metro areas have been on that list year in and year out.

That's because Provo-Orem is Prozacced out of their minds and Ogden-Clearfield is busy decapitating cats. Happiness is a warm gun.

So you think one area of the state tips the scales? What the pop in that are compared to the rest of the state?

If there is anything more fun that decapitating cats I haven't found it yet.
