Since Stockton and Malone teamed up in Utah has this ever happen?

"This is the fourth time this season the Jazz have lost three games in a row."

I doubt seriously it ever happen. This is as bad as it gets.

Two, Count 'em, two losing streaks of NINE games that season. Ouch. I forgot how bad things were that season.

That season was terrible--lots of big contracts for many years and a failure.
This season is confusing. Lots of promising young players getting benched while a bunch of FA's to be are playing.
 
I like it kind of. Has made for a season with a lot of ups and downs and funny threads. We win 3-4 games in a row, beat a good team in there, it's "Oh yeah, maybe we can get that 6th seed and have a chance in the 1st round" to losing 3 games and going "OMG, we are going to drop out of the playoffs and lose to the Bobcats".
 
What I'm asking is this: After Stockton and Malone got here and were playing together, did the Jazz EVER lose 3 games in a row 4 times in a single season? Stockton and Malone era ONLY!

1990-91: 4 losing streaks of 3 or more games
1992-93: 6 losing streaks of 3 or more games

1999-00: 4 losing streaks of 3 or more games
2000-01: 4 losing streaks of 3 or more games
2001-02: 4 losing streaks of 3 or more games
2002-03: 5 losing streaks of 3 or more games

So yeah, it's happened many times.

Thanks for looking that up. I actually thought of that season and was going to post something, but got distracted. Too bad the Jazz aren't quite that bad and won't get a Top-5 pick.

...thanks for the research! I did notice that from 1995 to 1999, there peak years together.....it didn't happen!
