I know this should be in the game thread, but I believe it deserves special mention. When you're as skilled, paid, and revered as he is, the fact that he seemed unfocused and almost uninterested could be pointed to as enough for a loss. However, his play down the stretch was sloppy as hell on top of all of that.

An embarrassing game. Big Al, Sap, AK I'm glad you showed heart tonight, but the Jazz can't/won't do much if Deron isn't leading the pack.

Deron also was on skates all night and had no business trying to guard Rose. I don't believe Rose is that good, but Sloan wouldn't allow Watson to continue to guard Rose well. I guess we needed Raja out there to lockdown Keith Bogans/Ronnie Brewer/Kyle Korver (and lose him somehow, leaving him wide open for a 3).

P.S. The edit options on this site are terrible. Sorry the cursor on my laptop sometimes flies around and causes errors to the thread title that I can't fix (unless I'm missing something).

This thread sucks.

Thanks. If anyone wants to lock or delete this, go ahead.

This ain't sour grapes, cuz we lost, but I have a hard time with the old, The better team won cliche tonight. It really didn't seem like anyone on the Bulls (besides Rose of course) was better than our main guys. Oh yeah and that big white dude

Deron doesnt quite have it in the leadership department. Thats why he still falls well short of other franchsie players in MVP discussions. Maybe he will improve when he hits the 30s, but as of now it has been just spotty

There are probably less than 5 legit superstars in this league. It's no slight that Deron is one tier down. That's still really good, but he needs help more than the Kobe Dwyane Lebrons do.
