I don't agree. Here's my take on what happened.
Diaw came out a bit over confident and seemed surprised that the Blazer players who in the past he had handled easily were outquicking him. Furthermore both Aminu and Vonleh have improved considerably, so I don't think Boris was ready for them; he will get better. Dante needs to establish better chemistry with him; in the first half, when they were passing back and forth, Dante passed up shots in the paint and passed it back to Diaw with the shot clock down, forcing him to launch hasty 3-pointers.
Lyles came out too offensive-minded, looking to shoot every time he got the ball. But he was missing and he was careless on defense. He seemed not to be well prepared for the movement of the Blazer team. He too will be better.
So, both had poor games and if they had played up to par, I think the Jazz would've won despite Lillard.
