Judging by the remarks of a lot of posters, I think they are going to be surprised by Diaw. I've been watching the Spurs closely the last few years and then I saw him play in the Olympics -- Diaw is still a very good player.
You will just have to watch the game. Too much to put in here.
Rudy bock. Diaw to hill for three. Exum missed a dunk and the refs bailed him out with a phantom foul then exum missed both free throws. Rudy with a floater/jumper/push shot for a bucket from outside the paint.
Do bruh. Gobert hit 13 free throw in a row an they were all swishes not iron clanky lucky bounce.
Exum made a killer driving bounce pass in heavy traffic but Gobert fumbled.
Hayward and Exum arms look huge. Exum looks like he put on 30 pounds of muscle in his time off.
Johnson was off but he showed he still has plenty gas left in the tank.
Phoenix had the best highlights an it is okay to say sense only preseason
Gobert "en fuego" from the FT line. If Quin can play him at the end of games, I'd venture a guess Utah would be a much better rebounding team and get defensive stops. Those were the weaknesses QS mentioned in losing so many close games.
Hack-a-Rudy is going to continue unless/until Gobert proves it's not a good strategy.
Do what I did. Watch the first quarter. Fall asleep. Wake up just after the start of the 3rd quarter then watch until just before the 4th begins. Fall asleep again. Then wake up with 1:30 left in the game and watch the ending. Then go to amazon prime and binge watch Justified for 3 episodes.
Pretty sure everything exciting happened while I was awake.
