THT has opted into his contract for next season

THT did not play well at the beginning of the year. His playing time was reflective of that with getting sporadic minutes only. However, his decision making and increased driving frequency later in the year was something to behold. He is still super young, can handle the ball, and can create for himself. If his game continues to build from what he finished on last season, he will be a big part of this upcoming season. Dude is still a couple years younger than agbaji at this point. Absolutely thrilled he is back. I would be shocked if keyonte George steals minutes this season. I’m guessing he’ll spend most the season in the G league playing on ball PG unless injuries some how force him up. This is shaping up to be a pretty solid team and lineup.

Yep. If he balls out a little better than last year (but is still obviously flawed), we could package him, Sexton, Simone, one of our 1sts from this year not named George, and a couple future 1sts to get someone legit. Probably anyone making ~37M or less.
 
THT has improved and has the positional size to be effective given the way we play him. However, we really need efficient playmakers taking minutes at the 1 and 2 and he’s just not the solution, hence why he probably couldn’t find a better deal on the market.
 
Or he is betting on himself in a great current situation in Utah currently for a breakout season and then a big pay day contract next year. Didn’t show enough this last year to land one but he has some very nice tools to finesse. I personally think THT has all star capability in a few seasons from now
 
Sweet! Can't wait to watch him continue his good play from after the trade deadline. I swear some of you just like bitching for the sake of bitching. Anyone without an agenda and eyes could see how well he played the last couple months of the season and should be excited.
