THT MIP Thread

Had you sold and re-invested you'd have made Billions over the years.

I'm happy the guy is finally having success... you know DL is somewhere lining up to pay him a max this offseason.
Isn't he with Dallas? Didn't he bring him in? You know he's sent out numerous "told ya so" texts.

thought he was in Houston but that might be right. lol you know he's walking around with a smile on his face today.

THT in December (6 games)

15-3-2 in 21 MPG on 50% from the field and 38% from 3.
Perfect, just in time for us start drumming up trade interest in him. I believe the front office and his representatives have an understanding that we sill seek to trade him and we've agreed to showcase him.

Possibly. I dont see THT as having much value outside of maybe a single second rounder by himself. If he's traded I would assume it's part of a larger deal. I think Utah would rather just keep him and see what happens then sell him for a mere 2nd round pick.

Safe to assume Clarkson has been bad for the team yet? Collins was back and the team looked good.

Clarkson can be good. He just has to fit in more instead of being a first option. Love him to the bench. Let Sexton/THT start. I think the current starters make sense. Sub out THT for Keyonte when he gets back.

Maybe for another team. He's been awful this year in every role. He probably doesn't fit our system at all. I think he's either quit on the team for various reasons or is cooked. He's pretty much having career lows in every way.

Maybe he's just partying too much since he doesn't care that much this year. Either way he's pretty much our worse player and been playing a huge role. We're better with out him. Dunn is more useful than him on both ends.

Ehh, I think it was just a bad stretch.

He isnt cooked. Had that 3 game classic flamethrower stretch after Key got the start where he was arguably better than we saw him play all of last year.

But something is off. His body language hasnt been great on the court and its just weird for me to see when the TV director cuts to Clarkson these past few games he almost always seems to be frowning.

Yeah so weird a player isn't having fun while injured

I feel the opposite. I think he had a couple hot streaks with us shooting, but generally he just isnt a good shooter and isnt a winning player and never has been. The only time he was useful to the Jazz is when we pretty much had no scorers besides Mitchell and needed someone to jack up shots even if its low efficiency. I think there are some teams out there that could use him though in a largely reduced role as a scorer. If it was just cold shooting I might agree but its way more than that.

If you look at his off/def rating he has never been positive in his career. I didnt even realize you could have a negative win shares until looking at Clarkson. This year he is bottom 4 in that for guys that actually get decent minutes. You got Scoot Henderson, Jordan Poole (who might be the only worse player in the NBA getting this many minutes this year), and Cade Cunningham below him. He is the only negative for that Jazz. Same goes for his BPM and pretty much any advanced stats. Not only is his play bad but he makes his teammates worse on both ends.

Ingles got robbed of that 6th man award.

I see injured players get super excited for the guys on the court when they are playing well and winning though

Clarkson is lauded for his vibes and positivity. I highly doubt he is upset his team is winning and playing well. I think it's BS that people trying to paint this picture of Clarkson when all the evidence says he's a great teammate.
