What's new

Tibor Pleiss made $36,585 per minute

still hopeful for Mr Unreal Shooting Mechanics.

I do think that he presents some intrigue. He's here for two more years-- we shall see.

Tibor had a big game Saturday night with 24 points 8 or 9 boards and he was scary enough no one wanted to come near the middle and the Stamps won.

Tibor isn't gone yet, so I am not sure I get your math.

The Bucks paid Jabari Parker $5,152,000.00 per less than one minute of basketball his rookie season. FIRE the Bucks Management! Most rookies are paid WAY too much per minute based on this. He is paid higher as a rookie because he was undrafted/Euro stash type. Nothing to see here.

Don't get me wrong. I am not defending Tibor. I wasn't impressed with the signing of Tibor. Nor was I ever impressed with his play. I thought he got paid a lot for an uproven backup. But I also believe in our ability to develop talent and to maximize it. Rudy Gobert was a steal. Withey's cheap contract and quality play more than makes up for Tibor's poor rookie season. But again, your analysis is piss poor. We got significantly better when we dumped Kanter and Corbin. Gobert still wouldn't be playing the minutes that he is playing. And we would have had to pay $70 million to keep Kanter when Portland came calling. Addition by subtraction is a hard thing for so many of you to understand.

I will give DL a chance to fail a few times on $3 mil contracts if we keep developing Hoods and Goberts out of 20+ picks.

Think of all the homeless and poor people that could be helped with that money -- ohh, that's right, we live in a capitalist society that doesn't care about the welfare of other people.

This crazes me every time. Thanks for being sensitive enough to point it out.

There was this one guy from Russia that sat all season with an injury and made 8 million that year. He did not even know how to comb his hair for good too! I mean, all those bucks and you still can't go to a modern *** barber?

Anyway, I wish the money could be shared between the ones that needed it more than a guy that sits all year and does nothing to make millions or a guy who just is not worth it.

Oh cool another NBADL player w a big game.

Additionally, he's played 22 games, averages 13 ppg, 88% free throws, 60% field, 33% from 3.

I'm not sold on TB either, but these numbers do not shout "bust" as some are implying without giving it much thought. I kinda like the idea of a backup huge center who can shoot. If we can find a way to develop him on two dimensions: strength and defense -- you've got a good NBA backup. And I don't think you need to transform him into a Gobert-like monster defender -- just get him to a serviceable level and add this to his size.
