Told you Rubio is not going to help us. He's a backup PG at best.

Rubio: “Eat a dick!”

I think that bump to rubio's head did something.

it may have made him into a dead eye shooter.

if rubio keeps this up i'll be astonished in a good way. I'd gladly eat my crow if he manages to keep this up. We still have a ways to go.

I never really understood the Rubio hate from the Jazz fans. I like him as a player and glad that he plays for the Jazz. He meshes well with DMitch and Ingles. Oh sure, he'll have some more bad games up ahead but he is learning and adapting to this Jazz team nicely.

A.) He clearly has improved his shot and shot selection as well. Whatever Snyder and Co., are doing. . . it’s working.

B.) His work with Raul Lopez is clearly helping him as well. He seems a lot more calm and under control lately. Making much better decisions.

C.) Mitchell’s gravity is helping non shooters like Rubio and Favors to find a little more space.

D.) Quin has been letting them play at a faster pace (more in line with where Ricky performs well) have all contributed.

E.) This is a great read. . . https://www.slcdunk.com/nba-podcast...azz-ricky-rubio-raul-lopez-nba-trade-deadline

Agreed. There’s plenty of reasons for Jazz fans to question hit fit and his shooting. The poor turnovers and horrible shooting earlier in the season was distressing. It looked like a failed experiment. Now that they’ve upped the pace to his comfort level and his shooting has been MUCH better (especially his 3 pointers), there’s legitimate reasons to get excited about him. Last 5 games (including wins over Toronto, Golden State and San Antiono), Rubio is averaging 19.2 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists per game. Clearly, something is clicking right now. He keeps this up and the Jazz make the playoffs - period.
