Kentucky is playing right now. The Harrisons are playing pretty good, or one of them, I'm not sure. They could really help their stock if they play good and declare.

The McDermott/Morrison comparison is interesting. Both about 6'8", can shoot, can score, small schools, big time scorers their entire careers, neither is very athletic, etc. To put a positive spin on it in McDermott's favor, DM is bigger (Morrison was really skinny and that, in my opinion was part of his undoing as a player - if you're skinny, you had better be athletic) and while Morrison was a great shooter, he was more of a scorer coming out of Gonzaga, where DM is more shooter than scorer, which should work to his advantage as an unathletic SF/PF.

Dougie McBuckets will be rookie of the year next year. He is most prepared to help a team in his first year, but his ceiling isn't very high.

McDermott = Ryan Anderson

I've never seen him play other then highlights but I wanna join in, how about a SF/PF version of Korver. So yeah a less athletic version of Ryan Anderson, I wanted to say Hedo, but Hedo had much better dribbling and passing skills ..... pssshh like I know what I'm talking about.

Ryan Anderson was a good scorer in Cal.
He was a respected player and scored well.
That said, McDermott is a prolific scorer; 27.3 points in Big East?
Awesome!
I checked the 3 percentages.
It is no contest there, as well.
McDermott is better!
I am sold.
McDermott is similar to RA.
He will most prolly end up being "better than" Ryan Anderson.

Just curious, how do you determine whether someone is athletic or unathletic? Other than, that is, the pigment of their skin?

Am I the only one who is getting a bit tired of this type of stereotyping?

Oh, I dunno, - speed, quickness, jumping ability, strength, lateral movement. Doesn't seem all that complicated. Perhaps it is for some folks.

STFU

Are there athletic women yeah? Yes. Is the fastest person on the planet a woman? No. It's a man and he is black.
