They get an all-star caliber power forward. Paul George can play the 3. Maybe just give them number 12 without getting 15 in return. That would be a more far trade.

Bwahahaha.....Jefferson an all-star caliber power forward!?!?!?!?! lol. That's funny.

He has one of the best foot work for an NBA big man...His numbers post all-star break are all-star worthy.

Look at Big Al's PER compared to both Collison and Granger.

Jefferson still hasn't proved his stats have led to winning, but I guess Granger and Collison haven't either.

Ah, so that's what makes Jefferson all star caliber. FANCY FOOTWORK.

Hell, why not trade for the low post big with the best footwork in the post, Carlos Boozer.

You rate Jefferson WAY too high. And while you say Jefferson is all star caliber, Granger HAS been an all star.

And Granger IS an all star forward, so by that measure, Granger>Jefferson.

Then we have Bell and Collison. Hmmm...who wins that matchup?

Then you have the fairly negligible difference between 12 and 15 in this year's draft.

If you look at player efficiency ratings than it's a better even trade. Bell and Big Al have a PER of 28.5 while collison and granger have a PER of 33.4. With the swap of 12 and 15, it gets to around a fair deal. We could even throw in Miles to make their PER higher and keep 12.

PER is a terrible way to analyze a trade. Granger is the best player in this trade and they are also giving up their pg of the future in Collison. No way it happens. Who would they play at pg? Also, in this draft there is hardly a difference in the 12-20 range. Jefferson and #12 for Granger is something they MIGHT look at.
