I’ll admit that I hated the trade in the moment. I wanted something bigger for Bogey and Beverley. Thought the Jazz could get it if they held out long enough. I’m glad that Olynyk has been great though. Very surprised to see him play such a critical role in the early season success of this team.

Lauri and Kelly just go to show how derelict DL was in not acquiring a stretch big while he wasted SO many assets and salary cap space on guys who couldn’t fit next to Rudy. Even one of these guys over the past 3 years would’ve been a HUGE difference maker for those teams.

It was a good trade for both teams. Olynyk is so versatile for this new jazz team. Him and Lauri makes very good duo for the Jazz.
